Looking Forward To The Weekends!

Bill has been at BJU for about 4 weeks now, and we've had so much fun on the weekends! It adds a whole new outlook to the 'Yay!-It's Friday' mentality. The first weekend he came home we went up to Cove Lake State Park and paddled around in the paddle boats. I had never been there! We saw a heron eat a fish! It was so cool, we thought he was just wading in the water, but he (like a ninja) snatched the fish up and held it in his mouth then swallowed it whole!! We just sat in awe for a few minutes--I thought it was a dream or at least a National Geographic Show! Enjoy the pics from Cove Lake!

(I need to aim better!)

One weekend I went to visit him in Greenville! It really is a beautiful city, I was sad I didn't bring my camera to the park downtown. Main St. has all kinds of cute cafes and shops, then in the middle of downtown there is Reedy River (like the Metroparks for those of you from Cleveland) with beautiful waterfalls.

Bill's mom, dad, and brother (Ted) came in that same weekend...here are some pictures of everyone.

One weekend I went to Cleveland for my sister's shower, and Bill got to visit with a friend, Brendan who is in the Army.

Bill and Brendan in the Mtns of NC.

Samantha and Shannon just after the shower-whew!

I saw you from the choir Sunday, (happily) sitting with Bill. I am so glad he was home. I have been thinking of you! When will he be completing his courses?

Loved your pictures of Cove Lake, it is beautiful there.

August 15 is the last day of school. The crazy part is my sister's wedding is August 16th. So, it will be a fun getting him back in time. :-)

How awful to be away from your hubby! I saw a picture of Stephen Jones on your blog! That's my pastor's brother! Isn't it a small world?
